Need Food? Our outdoor community food pantry is volunteer-based. This means food is donated at anytime and operates 24/7.

The Haven Garden helps those who are experiencing food insecurity and provides a safe place to grow a garden for those in need of physical and spiritual nourishment.

With help from First Presbyterian Church and others, Trinity United Methodist Church invites you to the Loaves & Fishes food bank drive-thru. This drive-thru pantry will be held at College Park located at 3180 W Highway 34, Grand Island, NE 68801. When arriving, please enter on Tech Drive. The best time to arrive is between 9:30 a.m. and noon. Please do not arrive before 7:30 a.m. Please remain in your vehicle. No appointment is required. If you need food, please come and we will serve you. Limited to one box per car. We are required to collect some information as you receive your food. NO identification and NO income information will be asked. Our goal is to feed those with food insecurity in our town. We hope no child has to go to bed hungry. Fighting food insecurity is important to the Grand Island community.

United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

United Methodist Men involves men in a growing relationship to Jesus Christ and his church and provides resources and support for programs of evangelism, stewardship and the needs of men.

For Habitat for Humanity, members gather to help with builds and construction needs in Grand Island. We volunteer our physical labor and time to help our neighbors in need.

Our church has been helping provide snacks for the students of Howard school since the pandemic hit and forced schools to change their lunch time routine. To join in this ministry please bring individually wrapped (low sugar) snacks to the church office.
