I bet that many of you reading this article have a special pet or have
had a special pet at some point in life. We know how attached we
become to them. They bring much comfort. Laughter is created by their
antics. Love is abundant. Cuddling is healthy and healing.
The Trinity Mission Committee is sponsoring our guest speaker
today, Robyn Mays, who represents Voice for Companion Animals here
in GI. This organization has a special place in the lives of many animal
friends.
Voice for Companion Animals and their AniMeals program is a
non-profit organization that provides food and supplies for in-home pets
because their owners are unable to adequately care for their animals.
VCA assists in pet emergencies, and if need be, assists in finding a
foster or forever home. All at no cost to the pet owner. This community
agency strives to keep pets with their caring owners.
A service such as this is in constant need of funding. Pet care can be
expensive, pet food also can be quite costly. Today, as you listen to the
stories Robyn will be sharing, imagine what a few dollars might do to
help someone keep a beloved pet when their finances are limited. As you
consider sharing, recall the joy and comfort an extraordinary pet has
brought to you.
To share we have a special jar set on the table in the narthex for you
to drop a donation in or you are welcome to send your gift to:

Thank you for supporting this wonderful community agency.
