Adopt a Raised Garden Bed for 2025 in Trinity’s New Community Garden, the Haven Garden! Are you interested in being involved in Trinity’s new Community Garden, but not sure if you want to make a big time commitment? Consider “adopting” one of our nine table-height 4’x4’ raised beds for the 2025 season (we will also have 12” high raised beds on the ground in varying sizes available for anyone to adopt). How this works: ● Decide what seeds or plants you want in your bed, then Trinity and our garden sponsor McCain’s will provide them for you ● You can plant your seeds or plants on the garden’s opening Day, Sunday, May 4th, or anytime after ● You tend to your plants in your bed through the growing season ● All the produce from your bed can be for yourself, or can be donated along with other produce from the garden to be shared with the community Adopting one raised bed for this season would be a great way to help ensure our garden gets off to a great start this first year. So if you haven’t done any gardening before but would like to give it a try, or if you already garden but would like to try growing a new flower or vegetable that you are interested in, this is the perfect time to do it. And if it happens that you get too busy during the summer or decide gardening isn’t for you, that is not a problem as I would be willing to take over your bed to finish out this season.
