WE’RE COMING BACK… It’s back to school time, and we’re celebrating on Sunday, August 17 with a special blessing in worship for students and school staff. Come to Miller Hall after worship for DONUTS and make a backpack tag. We need extra tags made for students who can’t attend the event, so please join in. This is an intergenerational event for the whole congregation. It’s back to ZONE time, and we’re having a Kick-Off Party with pizza and games for students and volunteers on Wednesday, September 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. ZONE is for in kindergarten through 12th grade and includes Bible study, games, snacks, and sometimes mission or creative projects! It’s back to Wednesday nights time, and we’re starting our fellowship meals, ZONE groups, Empowered Women group, bell choir and choir rehearsals on September 10. New this year – we are starting a men’s Bible study group. We are looking for people to cook the meals and volunteer at ZONE. Call the church office if you can help! It’s back to our Sunday GIFT events time, and we’re excited to announce that Homecoming 2025 will be September 21. Third grade Bibles will be presented, and we will hear from our Camp Fontanelle campers during worship. Join us after worship for a “Class Reunion” celebration of volunteers and brunch, where the homecoming royalty will be announced. Please get into the spirit by wearing your school colors and submitting a school picture to the office for our “yearbook”. This is an intergenerational event for the whole congregation.
