A 5th Sunday for Trinity has arrived right before the start of a new month. This special occurrence is an interstate sign that is readable to those that are fresh to the road or speed limit capped. The speedy, distracted, or non-driver may not have the capacity to give attention to this collection of English, sometimes Spanish, characters. It is a telling that the next season is in the nearby future.
The roadside attraction for the most grabbing attention is of the non-green trees and their leaves that are falling that are more abundant than a man-made display. This is a natural show of the progression of life that is symbolized by one falling leaf at a time, showing green as go full ahead; there is plenty of the year left, and red for the end of the year is near. These trees may be fairly recent, but plants have been around longer then we have been. The colors that these trees produce blend into the sunsets that are crawling earlier each passing day.
Heat is needed to sustain movement as being frozen solidifies everything in a tight bound. The flame of fire is what keeps us operating during these temperature dropping days. The source of heat is provided by the best anyone could have: God. His spirit is warming in methods unimaginable. As the path of life is winding and infinitely progressing, it is easiest to just follow a heat source that keeps on giving.
A flame that produces a color of red is lower in temperature than one of blue. It is of the blue flame that is needed to get the most of what God offers. A flame that produces a blue hue is received only by the progression of the spirit transformed only by His holy hands. Think Red to Yellow to Blue. There are opportunities to experience this in the upcoming days and events.
Let us experience God together by following God’s road and rules of His road fueled by the changing colors.
