On October 6-10 I will be journeying to join 17 other women to serve at Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC) in Pawnee, IL. MMDC has become my second home! I will take “second life” items with me to contribute to the ongoing needs that MMDC continues to meet “around the world and around the corner.” One simple item could change the trajectory of someone’s life! A wheelchair can bring mobility and independence. A sewing machine in good condition can provide a way of living for someone. How many of you, like Randy and I, have those orthopedic boots or shoulder slings you received following an injury or surgery? Maybe you have upgraded from a foldable walker to a chair style walker. Any of those items are welcomed at MMDC. Of course, bulk kit item donations (new) and monetary support are also welcomed.
