My name is Macy Claussen, and I have attended Camp Fontanelle for 4 years along with my twin brother Zach. Our first year the camp we chose was Splish Splash. This camp had lots of swimming and water activities including a trip to the Columbus waterpark. The last 3 years we have gone to Night Owls with several friends from Trinity. Night Owls is what it says it is, we stay up late and get up late. We sleep in the caves so that it stays dark later in the day. My favorite activities are 9 square, worship at night, the glow party, capture the flag, zipline and going to the pool. More than the activities at camp I actually enjoy unplugging from my phone and being with friends from Trinity and kids who also return to camp each year. The camp counselors are super nice they make everyone feel welcome and keep things moving smoothly. I would highly recommend going to Camp Fontanelle to anyone who hasn’t gone. Thank you to the church for providing scholarships to help pay for half of the cost of camp.
