This is the first weekend after the birth of our Lord. In
the 12 days of Christmas, this is the 3rd or 4th day. These
days lead up to the Epiphany on January 6th. As
Christianity spreads from the east, the less celebrations
are had on the 12 days of Christmas. To bring back one
tradition from history of the Catholics, here is a list of
common symbols that children might have remembered
for each day. This is similar to Advent Song with a new
verse each day.
